DEBORAH CASTELLANO, Minitrix of Organization
Deborah is very excited to have the opportunity to start her own
con from the ground using dreams that have been knocking
around her head since she was a young girl. Deborah got her
start in con business as the Minitrix of Organization with The
Final Overnight. When she is not spending hours in meetings or
tormenting the rest of the staff with organizational nightmares,
she is a freelance writer and dolly maker extrodinaire.
BLUE STARTHIEF (or, as the government knows her, "Regina
Barry"), Intern/Princess of Power
Blue excels at pretending that she knows what's going on. She
enjoys theater (both as cast and audience), unbridled hedonism,
being a film and music snob, and various and sundry fandoms. A
recent graduate of Rutgers University, she can geek out regarding
literature and feminist theory at the drop of a hat. She wants to be
Cyndi Lauper when she grows up.
JAMES JONES, Head of Promotions
James began his experience with conventions in 1994 assisting
with various conventions local to Birmingham, Alabama. He has
had experience working as a solicitor for donations for the charity
auction for DragonCon and lecturer for Walking the Thresholds, a
festival that takes place every summer in Northern
Maryland/Southern Pennsylvania. He also worked as a presenter
and publicist for the convention, "Jeff Mach's Final Overnight".
He is working primarily in promotions and safety for this
convention.
JOSHUA MARKS, Head of Logistics
Josh brings his experience in retail management to the table to
make sure all the cash is counted and everyone has a seat at the
table. His primary job is to make sure everything happens when it
happens and to keep things running smoothly both in the
planning process and in the day of. Josh has been with SalonCon
from the start.
